LIBERIAN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Over the past year, CV organized a new Liberian Strategic Partnership in the Twin Cities composed of Liberian and other pastors/churches who seek to work together to reachout to Liberians both locally and in Africa. This is a very strategic effort in that the Twin Cities is currently home to the largest Liberian community in America with over 30,000 Liberians living here with only about 13% attending church regularly and 87% unreached. A special 30-week Bible training course has begun with one of the partners, the Bethlehem Institute out of Bethlehem Baptist Church conducting it with an average of 30 pastors and lay leaders per week enrolled.
CV’s role is that of facilitator for the Partnership. In the past, John Mayer of CV founded the Somali and Tibetan Strategic Partnerships in 1999 and 2003 and is excited to now be working with Liberians. If you or your church wishes to join the Liberian Partnership efforts, please contact us. We’d love to work with you as well.
